Your holiday is 100% protected
We are part of a family-owned travel business that has been operating for more than 30 years. We’re proud members of ABTA and every one of our holidays is 100% protected by our ATOL licence, ATOL number 9749.
ATOL Protected
The ATOL scheme is run by the UK Government’s Civil Aviation Authority. In the event of the holiday being cancelled or disrupted or a travel company ceasing to trade, the ATOL scheme will support consumers to minimise disruption to their holiday or, if they are no longer able to travel, provide a full refund for the holiday. This means that when you book a holiday package with us, your money is 100% protected.
Our Holiday Assurance
For added peace mind, for all new bookings made after 01 January 2021, we offer this assurance:
1. If any of the following occurs you will be able to amend your booking fee-free or claim a full refund:
• The UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advises against all but essential travel to your destination.
• The Government advice changes to make it illegal to travel abroad.
• If it becomes a requirement to quarantine on arrival at your destination, with no option to forgo this.
• If your destination is placed on the “red list” prior to departure.
2. If either of the following occurs you will be able to amend your booking fee-free:
• After your holiday is booked the advice changes requiring you to quarantine on return to the UK.
• After your holiday is booked new requirements mean you are unable to travel due to new vaccination or testing requirements, or the area you are travelling from returns to lockdown.
Travel insurance
We hope that you will never need to claim on your travel insurance, but it is important to make sure that you and your belongings are properly covered just in case the unexpected happens. We recommend taking out travel insurance at the time you book and strongly recommend choosing a policy with specific Covid-19 cover.
What do we do to protect our guests?
Your safety is our main concern. We work closely with the FCO, airlines, other tour operators, and the local authorities in resort to make sure that all aspects of your holiday are completely safe, and to plan appropriate steps should the FCO advice change.
The Egyptian authorities take visitor safety very seriously:
- • There is a special tourist police force that operates in tourist areas, plus security checkpoints at airports and on the roads into each resort.
- • Hotel security is managed by the hotel security team in conjunction with the tourist police.
- • Unauthorised people and vehicles are prohibited from hotel grounds by law. (This is why a regular taxi can take you to the hotel gates, but only specially licensed "limousines" can take you to the hotel door).
Our resort team is also there on the ground to help you get the most from your holiday, but also to answer any questions you may have about security in resort.
